Map of location

Hazel Hill is a magical 70-acre wood, part of a large ancient woodland area near Salisbury.  The wood aims to combine human use as a retreat centre with conservation and sustainable forestry.

There are simple, comfortable wooden buildings, partly made from on-site timber, providing a beautiful indoor group room, sleeping accommodation for 24 people, good hot showers and a kitchen and sauna.  There is also a wood-fired outdoor hot tub!

Hazel Hill has many varied woodland habitats, and a rich variety of wildflowers, birds, fungi and wildlife.  There are special outdoor spaces for groups to gather, and ample scope for solo time and vision quests.

The buildings aim to demonstrate a high level of sustainability.  The Forest Ark, completed in 2008, is completely off-grid, and can be used for small retreat groups of 2 - 6 people.
