Kagyu Samye Dzong London-Manor Place
Kagyu Samye Dzong London Tibetan Buddhist Centre opened in April 1998 and provides peace and tranquillity for all at its two centres in central London. We run a programme of courses and workshops focusing on meditation, Buddhism, and holistic therapies. We also provide venues for community activities and alternative practitioners.
Kagyu Samye Dzong London is a branch of Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland and Rokpa Trust, which has branches worldwide under the direct guidance of Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche and Venerable Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche. Lama Zangmo is the resident lama and teacher of the London branch.
Kagyu Samye Dzong London offers a constant programme of meditation retreats, meditation classes and courses in Buddhism, along with courses in Tibetan language, artclasses and Tai Chi. We have a small shop offering a variety of related items, such as a selection of Buddhist books, incense, meditation cushions, statues and malas, and a comfortable reading library with a wide selection of Buddhist books from all traditions. A qualified Tibetan doctor holds regular clinics where patients can receive treatment with traditional Tibetan medicine.
