Theme for July and August 2012:

Celebrating the Olympic Spirit of Peace - with Dances of Universal Peace

Traditionally all war activities were stopped during the Olympic Games, and people gathered in peace. The Dances of Universal Peace honour the diversity of religions and spiritual paths on this planet through chant and dance. We dip into different traditions, singing and dancing together in a circle. Beginners and visitors from other countries are warmly invited to join our singing-dancing circle. The international DUP are a group dance experience, where nobody looses and everyone gains.

These peace dances can be described as a dynamic meditation in movement, from fast, high energy dances to slow contemplative walks, attuning to love, harmony and beauty and touching the universal truth in various spiritual traditions.

Connected as a group, we move, breathe and sing together towards Oneness.

The dances are accompanied by drum and guitar.
