Come and enjoy the Dances of Universal Peace! These dances are very simple, gentle, joyful but often strong in their effect on one's spirits and sense of oneness with the group of dancers.
Dances of Universal Peace are a form of circle dancing where we sing short sacred phrases from various spiritual traditions (such as Jewish, Native American, Islamic, Christian) while doing simple steps like side-stepping or walking. You don't have to be an accomplished singer or dancer. The words, melody and movements are taught each time we do a dance. Wear comfortable clothes that allow for some movement. You will need flat shoes (no heels), or you can dance in your socks!
For us, the Dances are a very powerful vehicle for personal development and enjoyment. Why not join us and experience them for yourself?
