For our Celtic ancestors this was a time to reflect on the past season, celebrate nature's bounty and accept that summer is now over. Harvest Home (Mabon) marks a time of rest after hard work, and a ritual of thanksgiving for the fruits of nature. This is the time to look back on the past year and what you have achieved and learnt, and to plan for the future. It is the second of the three harvest festivals. We shall be making particular use of song and poetry in the formation of this beautiful ritual. Seasonal songs and poems welcome! Please bring food/drink to share for the feast.
