Creativity Group

'Mixed Media Self Portraits'

Location: Kensington Unitarians (aka Essex Church) Notting Hill Gate London W8 4RT
Start Date: 01 September, 2009 at 07:00
Finish Date: 01 September 2009 at 09:00
Leader: jblackall (View profile)
Cost: £Free

In September the creativity group will be having a go at making mixed-media self-portraits (inspired by a book of the same name). This activity will probably benefit from a bit of advance preparation – especially if you are not feeling confident about your drawing or painting ability – one starting point would be to take a photograph of yourself which we can enlarge on the photocopier (or even manipulate on the computer first) and print out at large scale for you to paint, collage, or write all over. All are welcome.

Please contact us speak to Jane ahead of time if you would like advice or assistance with this part of the proceedings. It would be good to sort this bit out beforehand so that we can spend the session playing!

As usual all are welcome to come along to the group even if you are not particularly interested in the activity on offer – bring along your own craftwork – or simply come along to relax and enjoy the company.
